Review Request: Boost.Process

I would like to ask for a formal review of Boost.Process (draft version 0.4). * The source code can be found in the Boost Vault (search for process.zip or click on <http://www.boostpro.com/vault/index.php?action=downloadfile&filename=process.zip>). The source code can also be downloaded from <http://www.highscore.de/boost/gsoc2010/process.zip>. * The documentation can be found online at <http://www.highscore.de/boost/gsoc2010/>. If you wonder why the library looks like as it does today I recommend to read the thread at <http://thread.gmane.org/gmane.comp.lib.boost.devel/207594/> which was a kind of unofficial review. :-) Boris

How long do we have to submit reviews? I haven't looked at the latest incarnation yet, but I'll be pretty busy for the next week or so. On Fri, Oct 8, 2010 at 5:11 PM, Boris Schaeling <boris@highscore.de> wrote:

This is only a request (not the start of the review). The review will take place another time (who decides when I don't know; looking at the schedule at http://www.boost.org/community/review_schedule.html I'm afraid it will take longer though :-/). Boris

There is no reason for that. As soon as you find a review manager and you propose a date, the review wizardqs will see if it is convenient. So the first thing to do is to find the review manager. Best, Vicente

Anyone interested to be the review manager for Boost.Process? There is not really much to do as a review manager (see <http://www.boost.org/community/reviews.html#Review_Manager>). :-) I can also promise to support the review manager as much as possible. If anyone has time to do this in November that would be great! Boris

Has anyone stepped up to the plate on this one yet? Thanks, -- Dave Abrahams BoostPro Computing http://www.boostpro.com

not yet. :) As far as I can tell there is quite some interest in the library (at least if I look in my mailbox), and I'll support the library as it is right now. That said it's not a big deal for me if no review is done soon (it's not that I'll suddenly disappear :). Boris

I would like to ask for a formal review of Boost.Process (draft version 0.4).
You could sent a private mail to John Philips and Ronanld Garcia, the review wizards. Best, Vicente

Hello Boris, I have received your request and am adding your library to the review queue. Best, Ron On Oct 8, 2010, at 5:11 PM, Boris Schaeling wrote:
