no, but there are overlaps in functionality/use-cases and not having reserve makes it harder to write generic code that accepts either type.
list and deqeue functionality/use-cases overlap with vector too but they do not have reserve as well ... But if you really need it you can implement it by yourself, don't forget to document it properly and add unit tests. Ideally if you can send me a patch.
