If you go to the web pages listed above, and search for "line ending", you will see that in both cases, the file named: tools/inspect/wrong_line_ends_test.cpp is the offending file. Whether or not this file *should* have incorrect line endings is a different question ;-) -- -- Marshall Marshall Clow Idio Software <mailto:marshall@idio.com> It is by caffeine alone I set my mind in motion. Ah, thanks. I had searched for "invalid line ending" and "*R*". -- Genny

libs/ptr_container/doc/tutorial_example.html: *A* unlinked file This report is annoying because the file is included in verbatim in examples.html. Furthremore, range boost/range/.DS_Store: *N* leading character of ".DS_Store" is not alphanumeric I have no idea what this file is ... it does not exists on my system. How do we remove this spam? Thanks -Thorsten

It appears these were run with an out-of-date version of the inspection program The inspection reports are run with a current version of the program at least daily. There are links on the testing page at http://www.boost.org/development/testing.html I've reorganized and updated that page to make the Inspection Report links more obvious, and to place the most used links near the top of the page. --Beman

Cool! That's a way better place (and automatically run, too) than on my server. -- -- Marshall Marshall Clow Idio Software <mailto:marshall@idio.com> It is by caffeine alone I set my mind in motion.
