Hi All, will there be logging support in boost further time? log4cxx isn´t uptodate and I suggest logging in boost. Maybe u have heard about the unofficial logging for boost. Can someone tell me a release date within logging-support? So long Armin

IIRC, this library was reviewed and rejected for several reasons. If another submission corrects those problems, it'll probably be accepted into boost.
Can you tell me why logging was rejected? Please tell me the reasons. THX -- Armin Nagel Praktikant Quellenanbindung neofonie GmbH Robert-Koch-Platz 4 10115 Berlin fon: +49.30 24627 fax: +49.30 24627 120 armin.nagel@neofonie.de http://www.neofonie.de

Quote from the author John Torjo cited in the message announcing the review result for the logging library: <quote> Due to the feedback I got, I would like you to declare the library as rejected. In the light of what Gennady and others have said, indeed, another interface would be best suited for the Boost Log library. With what I know now, I would like to redesign the library from ground up, and ask for another review, probably 6 months from now or so. </quote> You can search the archives of this mailing list for the discussion that happened during the logging library review.
