
Hows about a boost-lite distro? What to include? Specifically only stuff that is a candidate for standardisation. If there is anything that is 'indispensible' but not a candidate, then one should ask why. Ideally Headers only, nothing that requires separate compilation, or bjam. I've been tinkering with the idea of a 'best of boost' website that emphasises a minimal core of very generic useful stuff, and shows how they combine. I see no reason to split boost.
