[filesystem][program options][serialization][test] comp.lang.c++.moderated: problem Boost libraries

I don't know if everyone saw this post and the *long* ensuing thread (I have been away from the NGs for the past month or so) but IMO it's very important for us (I mean the authors and maintainers of the referenced libraries) to address posts like this one, both to show our responsiveness but also to counter the inevitable FUD that ensuses when such posts are not answered. -- Dave Abrahams Boost Consulting www.boost-consulting.com

"3) serialization - A header race; doesn't tolerate including <boost/shared_ptr.hpp> before <boost/serialization/shared_ptr.hpp> - Yet another header race involving headers in both boost/archive and boost/serialization; details on request" FYI - I believe these particular issues have been addressed in code checked into the HEAD. I don't remember exactly . But I don't think there were any valid complains to Boost.Test in that post, other than well known expectation of different default behavior in case of system error. Gennadiy
