[filesystem] path normalization

Shouldn't path normalization remove trailing "/."? In other words, shouldn't "foo/bar/." normalize to "foo/bar"? Similarly for leading "./", don't we want "./foo/bar" normalize to "foo/bar"? Emil Dotchevski Reverge Studios, Inc. http://www.revergestudios.com/reblog/index.php?n=ReCode
