Where to download boost 1.33.0-1?

http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=7586&package_id=8041 only provides boost 1.33.0 download, not 1.33.0-1. Where to download boost 1.33.0-1? Boost 1.33.0-1 and 1.33.0 are the same or not? Thanks!

I already answered your question on the Boost User mailing list/newsgroup. There isn't any official Boost release numbered 1.33.0-1 . Cheers, Nicola Musatti

I vaguely remember that 1.33.0 was released and there was a particularly nasty problem so there was a nearly immediate release. Perhaps that is what 1.33.1 Beta is at the link above. Then there were a few minor problems and the final 1.33.1 was released. Perhaps that's what you are refering to with the 1.33.0-1? Where'd did you get this reference to 1.33.0-1? I searched the devel mailing list and your posting is the only reference to such a beast. Jeff Flinn

Maybe the -1 is a package version tacked on by a Linux distro? -- Frank

Some linux distributions add a -N to the version of the upstream package. It is possible that the OP is looking for the source code corresponding to a binary (rpm or such) in one of such distributions. In this case the boost version would be 1.33.0 + any patches the distributor has applied (which can be extracted from the .rpm, .deb or other packaging system used). oth, Maurizio
