ACCU 2010 - Boost folks there ?

Hi, I'm currently wondering whether I'll go to ACCU 2010 or not. But I just would like to know if any Boost folk will be there, and if there will be some talk or whatever, about Boost ? Thanks. -- Alp Mestan http://alpmestan.wordpress.com/ http://alp.developpez.com/

I've taken the liberty to forward your question to ACCU. Here is what Giovanni Asproni, the ACCU 2010 conference chair replied: *** Wearing my conference chair hat... I can tell you that nobody has sent us any proposals about boost. I guess some of the C++ talks *might* mention something about it. That said, I think many other people on this list agree with me that the conference is well-worth attending anyway. *** Best regards, -- Mateusz Loskot, http://mateusz.loskot.net Charter Member of OSGeo, http://osgeo.org

Thank you for forwarding. I perfectly imagine Boost being mentioned to illustrate some idiom, yes. By the way, do we need to be an ACCU member to attend the conference ? On Sat, Nov 21, 2009 at 3:38 PM, Mateusz Loskot <mateusz@loskot.net> wrote:

No, I don't think so. Previous editions were open and not restricted to ACCU members, so I'd expect the ACCU Conference 2010 will be open too. Best regards, -- Mateusz Loskot, http://mateusz.loskot.net Charter Member of OSGeo, http://osgeo.org
