Big problem with web site

I hope it's just my ISP caching web pages.... I've been working on something for the past few days, so I wasn't looking at our e-mails. However, I did look at <http://www.boost.org> a few times to see if the latest version cam out yet. I didn't see anything there. When I looked at our e-mails, I saw an announcement for Boost 1.31.0. Do you know what that means? Our home page has NOT been updated! Can we fix this? (I noticed that the library documentation page <http://www.boost.org/libs/libraries.htm> _did_ get updated, but the library download page <http://www.boost.org/more/download.html> is now _gone_. I didn't check any other part of the web site.) -- Daryle Walker Mac, Internet, and Video Game Junkie darylew AT hotmail DOT com

Or your web browser. The home page is fine, as found by my browser. It includes the direct download link and spelling fix added after release. We've had real problems in the past, and so the release manager's checklist includes browsing the web site to make sure the site update really took. That gets done before the release notice is posted. Because the procedure now used to update the site is to upload a .bz2 file and unzip it, it tends to either entirely work or entirely fail. That's an advantage over file-by-file ftp, which could drop a few files without it being apparent. --Beman
