[wesite] Version history page

I added the version history page that Daryle created, as a "Version History" link under the "Support" section. It has what would be a full version of the same style. With the footer having the license, etc info. http://redshift-software.com/~grafik/boost/index.htm Or you can look at the page directly.. http://redshift-software.com/~grafik/boost/more/version_history.html -- -- Grafik - Don't Assume Anything -- Redshift Software, Inc. - http://redshift-software.com -- rrivera/acm.org - grafik/redshift-software.com -- 102708583/icq - grafikrobot/aim - Grafik/jabber.org

This is really starting to look great! The tiny bit of dark margin you added around the edges helps enormously, much to my surprise. -- Dave Abrahams Boost Consulting www.boost-consulting.com

I think that under the "New Libraries" sections the lines may need some more structuring, possibly more like those of the "Updated Libraries": New Libraries LibName: + Purpose of library.... + By Author OtherLibName: + Purpose of library.... + By Authors where author could then be a link. I'm not entirely comfortable about where the author(s) line should be The behaviour of the updates section is far more readable when resizing fonts and the window. Firefox 1.02 Windows 1600x1024 I especially like the "expensive paper look/feel" the blue bar at the top has, although the "Boost C++ Libraries" appears a little odd in parts, not sure what it is I'm not happy with though. Rene, I posted a snapshot of how this page looks at http://www.devel.lyx.org/~leeming/boost_konqueror3.3.2_11apr05.png This is the default width of the konqueror screen. Is there a way to tweak the css so that the left hand column is always at least half the width of the whole page? Regards, Angus

Thanks.

Not in those precise terms. The best I have is setting an overall minimum width. The current design has that. But "min-width" is not a widely supported property, don't know if Konqueror will respect it. -- -- Grafik - Don't Assume Anything -- Redshift Software, Inc. - http://redshift-software.com -- rrivera/acm.org - grafik/redshift-software.com -- 102708583/icq - grafikrobot/aim - Grafik/jabber.org
