This library depends on the boost read_write_mutex that is abandoned on the current version of the library ( 1.34 ). I would like to know if someone is actively developing it otherwise i can take care of developing the windows version.

There is a Windows version of a new read_write_mutex on the thread_rewrite branch in CVS. The interface is changed compared to the old boost version, to be more in line with the proposal currently before the C++ committee, and heading for TR2. I also have a generic implementation which works on POSIX.
