<snip> Thanks for doing this, John. It'll be a huge boon for many users. I notice that bundling them all in one file makes for a very large download. Maybe separate downloads would be better? -- Eric Niebler BoostPro Computing http://www.boostpro.com

Nod, I thought about that, but setting up all those separate downloads via sourceforge's crazy release system doesn't thrill me :-( Maybe there's somewhere in the web space we could place them - Rene, Daniel? John.

The files in the tar.bz2 cannot be opened, since their permissions are set to 000. Entering the directory containing the files and doing chmod 644 *.pdf fixes the issue. The files in the .z7 work fine, since their permissions are set to 644. Thanks for your work, -- Maik

Grrr, that's what happens when you prepare the release files on Windows.... I've regenerated the tar.gz2 file with 7zip rather than cygwin and the permissions seem OK now, uploading a replacement now... John.

This is excellent (and may make indexing by the search engines more effective?). But is my eyesight failing, or are we missing one of the most used libraries, and one raising most questions - Boost.Test? Paul --- Paul A. Boost.Test doesn't provide quickbook/boostbook/docbook documentation (as far as I can see).
I remember that Gennadiy was/is working and has ported the docs to one of the above. But he did not commit them due to some build issues. Should be in the archives somewhere. I think that may be correct, but I don't really want to have to go scrambling around looking for docs that have to be built manually - the whole idea is that the current PDF build is pretty much hands-free - and IMO that's the way it should be. That said if Gennadiy can explain the issues, I'm sure we can try and find a way to integrate an automatic PDF build for 1.39. John.

Hello John, Thank you for your great efforts making all of these docs in pdf format. B/Rgds Max
