Author assistance for WG21 display content

Hello everyone, My name is Rob Beeston, and I’m the Product and Creative Director for C++ Alliance. I’m currently making arrangements for the upcoming WG21 event, and could use some help from some of the authors. We will be making posters, similar to this mockup ( https://downloads.cppalliance.org/images/boost-poster.png) to highlight the following libraries at the event: Hash2 Math Parser Scope Unordered Each poster would need a brief description, a longer explanation (perhaps 1-2 short paragraphs of what it does and/or how it works) and a code snippet that would best represent how to use it. Thanks and I’m looking forward to working with you. Rob

For Boost.Scope, I think, it is covered on the documentation front page, isn't it? https://www.boost.org/doc/libs/1_87_0/libs/scope/doc/html/index.html

That's true for most libraries, but I'm checking with the authors in case there is anything specific or different that they would want to add. Thanks! Rob On Wed, Jan 29, 2025 at 3:42 AM Andrey Semashev via Boost < boost@lists.boost.org> wrote:

Well no, it is not. The documentation front page for Boost.Scope has too much text and code for a poster. We need to have this exposition streamlined and framed in a way that is exciting and indicative of Boost's renewed vitality. The library author would be in the best position to perform this editorialization, as they are the most familiar with the library. Rob can we please post an image showing the content of the Hash2 poster for reference, so that authors can have an idea of what can fit? Thanks

Sure!, here is a mockup and the area for text will mirror this in the final design. https://downloads.cppalliance.org/images/poster2.jpg Rob On Thu, Jan 30, 2025 at 9:09 AM Vinnie Falco via Boost < boost@lists.boost.org> wrote:

Rob, Is there somewhere you are collecting the text contributions from us? I think the recent addition worth highlighting in Math is that we now have CUDA and SYCL support in a good chunk of the library. Matt

I'll collect them locally, and when I've got enough or a good outline then
I can post it here for review.
