Dear all, just a quick note to * say thanks for accepting my application for the Generic Tree Container * point everyone to my freshly set-up blog at http://www.unet.univie.ac.at/~a0057324/php/blog/ * ask everybody to read the (admittedly pretty lengthy) blog post there on trying to distill a powerful tree interface * and, most importantly, invite everybody to comment on it as that blog is supposed to be the place where i'd like to get in touch with people on technical details without burdening the dev list initially. Kind Regards Bernhard Reiter

Hi Bernhard, I strongly request you look into the Adobe Source Libraries forest implementation: <http://opensource.adobe.com/group__forest__related.html> The data structure is truly remarkable in that it is designed in such a generic way that multiple iterator adaptors have been written for it to accomodate several different common types of trees. I submit to you that it would make a good starting point for a generic Boost tree container. The code is freely available and distributable, and you are welcome to use it however you see fit. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask. Blessings, Foster On 5/29/06, Bernhard Reiter <ockham@gmx.net> wrote:
