PROBLEM:
I had been a sandbox cvs developer, but I was unsure if that also made me main cvs developer. This resulted in several emails between me and mailto:boost-owner@lists.boost.org before things were cleared up.
SUGGESTED SOLUTION:
apply the attached patch to:
http://www.boost.org/more/getting_started.html
This makes clear who has write access to the main cvs.
FEEDBACK:
Please let me know within the next 10 days if there are any objections to this patch. If there are no objections, I will apply the patch on day 11.
TIA.
There seem to be an AWFUL lot of changes in there that do not appear to have anything to do with clarifying who has write access to the main CVS. In fact, there are so many changes, I couldn't see what the visual change would be! Many of the changes seem to be changing between relative and absolute pathname, some are attributes reordered on elements, some are changes to the capitalization of elements. Have you used some sort of "smart" HTML editor that has reformatted the HTML under your feet? Alternatively, have you made your change to an old version of the text and Rene (or somebody) has tidied things up since? -- Martin Bonner Martin.Bonner@Pitechnology.com Pi Technology, Milton Hall, Ely Road, Milton, Cambridge, CB4 6WZ, ENGLAND Tel: +44 (0)1223 441434

I attached the wrong file. I'm very sorry :( A reply to my own original post has the correct patch.
