For about a week now, every time I try to use the web link to the CVS repository (http://cvs.sourceforge.net/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/boost/boost/) I get a "This page cannot be displayed" error. What gives? Joe Gottman

Have you read "IMPORTANT: CVS Root Change" thread? http://article.gmane.org/gmane.comp.lib.boost.devel/142442 Host name has been changed. New URL is: http://boost.cvs.sourceforge.net/boost/ Cheers -- Mateusz Ĺoskot http://mateusz.loskot.net

So you should have write permission.
I guess someone else will have to update the website :(
No, you can do it!
I did:
ssh cppljevans@shell.sf.net "groups"
and got output:
users opencxx boost-sandbox
but shouldn't "boost" be in the output to give me permission to modify getting_started.html?
and David responded that I should contact sourceforge to correct the problem, which I did but haven't gotten a resolution yet. The problem report is at: http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&aid=1490393&group_id=1&atid=200001 Maybe someone else should update the website.

Sorry, you should cancel that. Whoever added you to the Boost developer list forgot to give you permissions, add you to the trackers, etc. I just took care of that. Moderators: when approving a new member, please always give him/her full permissions (except for project admin) and add him/her to all the trackers. Otherwise it just causes more work later. getting_started.html mailing_lists.htm have just been updated with corrected links to cvs browser pages.
