[filesystem] Windows DLL causes invalid bad path exception

was: [filesystem] WIN32 Can not use drive name in directory I found posts on boost-users from January that describe the problem that I am having. Was there ever a resolution to this? Mr. Dawes, you mention a re-work in the next version of the library ( http://lists.boost.org/boost-users/2005/01/9607.php ) that would fix this problem. Is that rework complete, or not yet? Should I just use the static version for now and not worry about this problem? Well, thank you for refreshing my memory! Yes, I'd say go ahead and use the static version for now. Work on the next version is almost complete, and I'm about to ask for a min-review. So it shouldn't be too long before the problem goes away. --Beman

Thank you for the answer! I look forward to the next version. - Dave "Beman Dawes" <bdawes@acm.org> wrote in message news:d7l4gt$rrm$1@sea.gmane.org...
