Umm, the OP mentions the sandbox and later states (s)he wants to try RC_1_34_0, yet the link you provide is a snapshot of the CVS trunk, IIRC. There's a RC_1_34_0 daily snapshot at http://engineering.meta-comm.com/boost/snapshot/boost-RC_1_34_0.tar.bz2 maybe this is what the OP's after.
