[phoenix] Creating a download for boostcon

I'm looking to create the download for boostcon either tonight or tomorrow. I'll probably do it myself rather than using the nightly downloads so that it will include the geometry documentation. Since there were changes to phoenix since the regression test were last run, we need to check that it has been manually tested on all the popular platforms first. I'll run the phoenix (and spirit?) tests on OS X if that will help.

I wasn't watching the reports so I didn't notice that it had hung. I'll do one more run before I leave. In Christ, Steven Watanabe

Thanks, that'll be helpful. Although I'm only concerned about a couple of libraries, so please don't spend too much time on this. Daniel

I need to make another last minute changes ... will commit in about half an hour! Will you make the archive from release or trunk? Thanks for making the archive!

Release. I'll patch from trunk if necessary, so don't merge anything that isn't ready.

I'm running tests locally now, will commit (on behalf of Thomas) after I'm done. I'll drop you a note. Regards Hartmut --------------- http://boost-spirit.com

Thanks, I'll probably get it done tomorrow.
Sorry, a bit late, I had some trouble with checking out on windows. So I gave up on that and adapted the old shell scripts. First snapshots at: http://boost.cowic.de/rc/boost-posix-snapshot.tar.bz2 http://boost.cowic.de/rc/boost-windows-snapshot.7z I haven't really tested them yet. So I'll redo them later at the same url if there are any problems.

Also, the documentation for the new libraries is now up on the beta site: http://beta.boost.org/libs/chrono/ http://beta.boost.org/libs/geometry/ http://beta.boost.org/libs/phoenix/ http://beta.boost.org/libs/ratio/

The release reports have been updated. The trunk results were failing for reasons that I don't have time to investigate right now. In Christ, Steven Watanabe

What is this, are we making a release just for Boostcon?

It's not a full release, I'm just preparing something so that attendees can try the new libraries. This isn't considered an 'official' release, certainly won't be as well prepared as a beta release, and won't be added to sourceforge or linked from the homepage. I was going to call it an 'alpha' but I think I'll just say 'snapshot' which is probably a more accurate description. There have been a few hiccups so it's a bit rushed.
