What Linux repo? Debian? When the next stable version is released, in about 2 years.
You can use the testing(wheezy) release instead of the stable(squeeze) release. testing use boost 1.46.1 .
If the release cycle is too slow for you, you can switch to Ubuntu or Fedora. HTH David Callu
