Boosters looking for more ammunition when try to convince their organizations that it is OK to use Boost might want to refer to the 3rd edition of Scott Meyers' Effective C++. Because Scott is well-known and isn't in any way affiliated with Boost, his recommendation may carry a lot of weight. Item 55, "Familiarize yourself with Boost" devotes four pages to Boost, including our culture and a mention of various Boost libraries and library categories. I think we ought to add a prominent mention of this to the Boost home page. --Beman
