Release candidate files for the 1.44.0 beta are available at http://boost.cowic.de/rc/ As always, the release managers would appreciate it if you download the candidate of your choice and give building it a try. build and installation looks fine on Linux 2.6.18-128.1.6.el5 #1 x86_64 for g++ 4.4.4 and intel-linux 11.1. Release history pointer in the doc points to non existing page: http://www.boost.org/users/history/version_1_46_0 Frédéric

Make that 1.46.0 beta 1. The files have been pushed up to SourceForge. Before sending out a release notice, I like to get a list of known problems and an indication of whether or not we plan to fix each before 1.46.0 itself ships. The .tar.bz2 Bootstraps and builds fine on Ubuntu 10.10 with GCC 4.5.
