That depends: general Boost questions are best sent to the list, some design questions might be better discussed on the list as well. Project specific questions might be best handled by your mentor - but best to ask Joel about that ;-)

Yesterday ? :-> Seriously, as soon as your University committments are out the way then feel free to start. The official start date is 26th May, but for some students that may be either too soon or too late depending on what course they're on, so try and work out what's the most sensible schedule that doesn't upset your coursework and any exams you may have. Maybe the most important thing (strictly IMO of course) is to keep your mentor informed of when you're going to be tied up with coursework/exams so we don't get frustrated trying to contact you during that period :-) HTH and have fun coding, John.
