Hello all, I can't use SGI's STL for several reasons: * It's incompatible with the standard library implementation shipped with my compiler (MVS). * Extracting only ropes is a headache, there are too much dependencies. * Unacceptable license. Were there any discussions about implementing ropes in boost? Yakov

I am curious as well (in other words, poke/bump?).

I don't remember any discussions about this, which is not to say there weren't any ;-) At the end of the day though, it depends on someone stepping up and making a submission... John.

That would be nice! I just can't find time to start working on this by myself. On Wed, Jul 28, 2010 at 16:28, Steven Maitlall <m.steven@gmail.com> wrote:
