Category: serialization Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Gerd v. Egidy (gvegidy) Assigned to: Robert Ramey (ramey) Summary: xml serialization fails when using namespace Initial Comment: When serializing an object whose class is in a namespace the xml serialization throws an "unrecognized XML syntax" exception. Serializing using text or binary archive works without problem. The attached example shows the problem: define BUG and it throws, undef it and it works. It seems like the same bug was reported to the user mailinglist in this thread: http://thread.gmane.org/gmane.comp.lib.boost.user/15479 but at that time noone guessed that the namespace is the problem. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=107586&aid=1580489&group_id=7586 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Using Tomcat but need to do more?
