[docs][boostbook] FOP 1.0 is broken

Howdy, Just an FYI. Apache FOP 1.0 has a bug that causes it to crash with an exception when building boost PDF documentation. This bug has been fixed in the FOP repository, so nightly builds of fop do not exhibit it.

FOP has a bug? I'm shocked. SHOCKED. ;-) I think most people here gave up on FOP some time ago and use XEP from RenderX. -- Eric Niebler BoostPro Computing http://www.boostpro.com

Note there is an alternative route from DocBook to PDF that goes via LaTeX instead of FO (http://dblatex.sourceforge.net/). The resulting PDFs - are smaller than those generated with a FO processor, - have nice looking formulas (eg Boost.Accumulators), but - do not have nice syntax coloring in source listings. cheers, Daniel
