endian-0.6.zip has been posted in the integer directory of the file vault at http://boost-consulting.com/vault/ The only important change is that I finally came around on the names, and changed from byte-count oriented names to bit-count oriented names. What finally swayed me was some code I wrote that mixed endian typedefs with cstdint typedefs. It was jarring to see both naming conventions intermixed in the same source files. Yet this will be the most common use pattern. So the change has been made. --Beman
