Back to the original problem: Steps to repduce the described behaviour: 1) Update boost tree from CVS 2) issuing SET TOOLS=vc-7_1 bjam --prefix=C: install 2) Editing the file boost/boost/thread/detail/config.hpp 3) issuing SET TOOLS=vc-7_1 bjam --prefix=C: install does not rebuild the threading library, altough I expected it to. Am I wrong with this expectation? Roland
