Is http://svn.boost.org/trac/boost/browser down? I get: Error: Not Found No handler matched request to /browser Frédéric

2010/12/10 Frédéric Bron <frederic.bron@m4x.org>:
Yes, it was turned off to relieve the stress being put on the server. You can look at the sources through https://svn.boost.org/svn/boost/ . HTH -- Dean Michael Berris deanberris.com

There's still a (broken) link to the browser on the front page of the trac wiki. FWIW, I miss the browser, it's my favorite part of trac. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.9 (GNU/Linux) iEYEARECAAYFAk0CPMMACgkQ5vihyNWuA4XOcgCfd4VEASPDn4ECvmlnJEid+s9C 9rMAn02KhuyKot8gBnO+ccFYVYhXUqrw =3a25 -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----

Interesting. Maybe Rene should enable it now that the spam measures have been put in? Or have they been put in yet? I OTOH wasn't a big fan of the Trac browser generally because I felt it was really slow and heavy. To each his own I guess. ;) -- Dean Michael Berris deanberris.com

Slow, yes; however, it was real convenient to html link to particular lines in the code with the html #linenumber method rather than say: see line XXX in https://svn.boost.org/svn/boost/trunk/boost/mpl/find_if.hpp

It appears you can still do this, via github: <https://github.com/ryppl/boost-svn> See <http://lists.boost.org/Archives/boost/2010/12/174391.php> (& thanks to Sohail Somani). Assuming it's not going anywhere, should <https://svn.boost.org/trac/boost/wiki/BoostSubversion> make reference to it? Currently reads "The Subversion repository can be browsed online at http://svn.boost.org/trac/boost/browser."
