The EDG compiler is on hold indefinitely (unfortunately), so it will be an updated 5.x. We just don't know how updated. Apart from using DinkumWare, specific fixes haven't been mentioned although Borland employess are now traweling through qc (http://qc.borland.com/) opening up bug reports that have been made over the last 2-3 years since BCB6 (bcc32-5.6.4) was released.
