What is the role, if any, of Ryppl and CMake in the Boost modularisation plan?
The answer is none. Modularization + the move to git is a big enough change to be done separately and to stand on its own merits.
modularized boost will use in the first step boost.build/bjam in the first step and later the transition to cmake?
Modular Boost + Git has enough advantages that it is worth doing regardless of what happens in the future. But the intent is to continue work on further infrastructure improvements, for sure. The specifics will evolve over time, but cmake interest continues to be strong. --Beman
