Mine is different. Boost contains many things that should have been in the std lib to begin with. I want these things to be widely used, so that I don't have to deal with so much bad code. Who should use smart pointers if not those who aren't avantgarde??? (AFAIK, boost is distrubuted as part of the Indesign SDK. You won't reuire all Indesign plugin developers to be avantgarde, will you?)
