I've always found that Bugzilla was much more powerful than any other tool, for example, but is also a bit more complicated.

A bug tracking tool that is often used with git is redmine (with gitolite integration). I'm not sure it'd suit something as big as boost (bulk-editing a lot of tickets in the interface doesn't scale very well), but it's worth mentionning. Philippe
