Hello,
Now that the time for new libraries is close for 1.36, can we know which are the new libraries for 1.36 and the major updates?
I have found a not too orthodox way. If someone is interested, you can do a diff of the file status/Jamfile.v2 The diff show three new libraries: accumulators, units and unordered.
Which are the supported compilers and platforms for 1.36?
The file status/explicit-failures-markup.xml, contains the following. - <!-- /////////////// Toolsets /////////////// --> <mark-toolset name="acc" status="required" /> <mark-toolset name="darwin-4.0.1" status="required" /> <mark-toolset name="gcc-4.1.2_sunos_i86pc" status="required" /> <mark-toolset name="gcc-4.1.3_linux" status="required" /> <mark-toolset name="gcc-4.2.1" status="required" /> <mark-toolset name="gcc-4.2.1_linux_x86_64" status="required" /> <mark-toolset name="intel-linux-9.0" status="required" /> <mark-toolset name="intel-vc8-win-10.0" status="required" /> <mark-toolset name="intel-win-10.0" status="required" /> <mark-toolset name="msvc-7.1" status="required" /> <mark-toolset name="msvc-8.0" status="required" /> <mark-toolset name="msvc-8.0_64" status="required" /> So I supose that this is the list of required platforms.
Maybe is there a wiki with this info.
Best,
Vicente

The 1.36.0 release schedule has been set. For details, see http://svn.boost.org/trac/boost/wiki/ReleaseSchedule
The milestones are:
*Note well: Changes must always be committed to trunk and be stable on trunk regression testing before being merged to branches/release.*
* *May, 2008:* branches/release opens for all stable changes, including bug fixes, major library upgrades, and, with permission, new libraries. Breaking changes should be coordinated with libraries affected. * *June 19, 2008:* branches/release closes for new libraries and major upgrades or breaking changes to existing libraries. Still open for bug fixes and minor changes to all libraries. * *July 3, 2008:* branches/release closes for routine minor changes and fixes. Still open for serious problem fixes. * *July 10, 2008:* branches/release closes for all library changes except when specific permission given by release manager(s). * *July 17, 2008 (sooner if possible):* Beta 1 target date. Further betas and/or release candidates as feedback dictates. * *July 31, 2008:* Release ship date.
