You know, I was considering creating an account for myself on LinkedIn, but now I am thinking that would be a bad idea since I really don't want to spam all of my friends.
Not sure if that's tongue in cheek, but all you need to do to avoid the spamming is to not check the box which allows LinkedIn to plunder your address book!
Oh, actually I did not know that since I had somehow gotten the erroneous impression that the site just sent out these e-mails automatically, but if one has to explicitly opt-in then the situation isn't nearly so bad. Thank you for the clarification! :-) Cheers, Greg
