BTW, this bug report affected two separate components independently. And the issue with the second component was added via a comment. Please don't do either one of these. It complicates issue assignment.
AFAIK you are the author of the integer library and should be most qualified to say whether the change is right there. W.r.t. the iostreams library, it's pretty hard to get Jonathan Turkanis' attention without sending him mail directly.
