Ummm. How can I do this for deprecated macro or namespace?
It seems like all users of them have been completely unaware of their deprecation. Was this only via docs/comments?
I can probably dig this out. but the was an announcement on a list here and at some point this was part of release notes (these disappeared once I reworked docs to new format). In new documentation these are not even mentioned.
To me it seems that the underlying cause isn't really removing deprecated things (which one might consider they have the right to do eventually), but that things that are deprecated are not known enough to be.
