if you ask me i say
1. doc navigation is odd and inconvenient

2. integer constants
MAX_SPLITS
MAX_FINISHING_SPLITS 
MIN_SORT_SIZE 
LOG_MEAN_BIN_SIZE 
LOG_MIN_SPLIT_COUNT 
LOG_FINISHING_COUNT 
FLOAT_LOG_MEAN_BIN_SIZE 
FLOAT_LOG_MIN_SPLIT_COUNT 
FLOAT_LOG_FINISHING_COUNT 
must be members of a (nameless) enum

3. i think it's a valuable piece of software for specific domain
