Thanks, Steven! This is good stuff. Are these three sets of properties per target mere convention, or is this something we can count on?
You can rely on this. Handling for them is built into the basic-target class, and every main target rule should allow you to specify them. If you encounter a rule that doesn't, it's a bug.
And is this written up anywhere? It goes a long way to de-mystifying b2 for me.
