I would be interested in working as a mentor for someone interested in something related to serialization library. In the the library documentation there is a "To Do" list. This has a few suggestions for projects which are much smaller than making a whole library. I'm particularly interested in the development of some performance tests and profiling. We need both people to assist in assessing the student applications, and experienced Boosters to mentor the students themselves.
We really need to get some new blood into this if our SOC participation is to continue - we can't rely on the "usual suspects" taking this on year after year - in short, "Your Boost Needs You!".
