So you may want to checkout the current CVS head to see if whatever performance problem you were seeing is still an issue.
I happily stand corrected. I checked out the CVS tree, and ran a modified recursive version of the simple_ls.cpp example, and ran it against the boost source tree. The resulting run times on my system were on par with find(1). Nice work, and thank you. - Chris
