[boost] boost_thread-vc80-mt-1_43.dll "the application failed to inialize properly"

I can link to boost_thread-vc80-mt-1_43.lib  with no problem, but when I try to run the executable,  I et an error The application failed to initialize properly  )0xc0150002)   Clico on OK to terminate the application. Does anyone know how to fix this?
