But when I "see the regression testing results," all I see are results for the trunk and the release branch. If I'm an ordinary user, I'm using the 1.35.0 _release_. Do those libraries work with my compiler?

Noted. One of the pushes for 1.36.0 will be to rewrite the release procedures, and then actually follow them. --Beman
