I'm wondering how to assign or close a bug report on SF. Do I need special rights for this?
I don't know; did you try and fail to do it?
When logging in and then looking at a specifig bug, I can't change anything, besides adding a comment. In the overview, I can't assign a bug to myself, because I don't see a way how to do that. There is an admin link on both pages, when selecting it, I get the message "You do not have admin status on any trackers for this project".
If yes, can't we just give those rights to all boost members?
When I add a new Boost developer, I always give him maximal privileges (other than admin privileges), so that he can make himself maximally useful on Boost. I'm not sure how the other admins deal with it.
Hmm, I'm wondering if one really has to be a project admin to change the status of a tracker item. Markus
