On the contrary I do not think that is the case. In fact even when we have available compiler provided implementations of boost equivalents we still use the boost versions as it provides us with more control over how we migrate and evolve our codebase.
Point taken. Also, since the bulk of the code is already done and the standard itself can be linked to for most of the reference documentation, there amount of work left to turn it into a Boost library is relatively small. --Beman
