[boost] [1.52.0] [request permission to merge to release] Changeset 80790

As I was updating the Release Notes for 1.52.0, I thought about a recently introduced restriction on function_input_iterator (due to addressing ticket #5825 [1] in [2]) that could be relaxed. trunk changeset is here: https://svn.boost.org/trac/boost/changeset/80790 I think it's pretty benign but given that the release branch is closed tomorrow (Monday) and the beta rc is just a few days after that, I figured that whether and when this gets merged to release is up to the release managers.
