Hi Luke, Thanks, we were happy to read your review, and understand your concerns. We want to clarify one point, also because there were more remarks on this.
I think the stated scope of the library (generic computational geometry) differs from the scope of what has been implemented (generic 2d floating point GIS focused geometry).
The word "generic" in our name denotes generic programming. It is a generic library on geometry. Most libraries on GIS or geometry are not based on generic programming. So that was why we choose for this name. This might indicate indeed a generic library on generic geometry, and we want to support many branches; but actual name is derived from GP. Regards, Barend
