I am not sure how interested in Eve they are; although, in a practical sense, they must be working on this. I know that Jaakko, Sean, Mat, etc. made changes to the constraint solver that may not have made it into the Adobe tree.
And Sean is back at Adobe - I hear there may be some ASL updates...
