The library I've written is the only one in the vault which uses this mechanism. Your library in the vault directly accesses the interfaces for the underlying points, segments and polygons:

But as we said, this version of the library is deprecated by the incoming one. You'll have a very good idea of the work made in the meanwhile by browsing the archives, as Luke suggested. Bruno
